One of Disney’s special movies is “The Lion King,” and it has classic songs like “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.” Recently, a Boys’ Choir named Daglielis did a cool version of this song on YouTube, giving it a fresh and exciting twist.
The captivating nearly 4-minute video starts with about two dozen young men patiently poised on stage, creating an immediate sense of anticipation. As they began, a sonic journey revealed, instantly transporting the audience to the heart of the jungle.
The young men kicked off the performance by snapping their fingers in rhythm, delicately imitating a tropical rainstorm. The enchantment deepened as they skillfully mimicked a symphony of animal sounds, offering astonishingly accurate renditions of monkeys, birds, and elephants. What’s truly remarkable is that all these lifelike impressions emerged before they’d even sung a single note.
Gradually, the boys transitioned into the familiar melody of the song, retaining the background chorus of animal sounds. It became a perfect and impressive version of the song from “The Lion King,” never completely abandoning the sounds of wild animals.
