Cody Williams honored Robin on July 21, 2019, when he got married to Maria Flores Williams on what would have been the late actor’s 68th birthday.

The actor’s son also wed Maria in the late actor’s house in San Francisco where he and Marsha raised their kids. This home is also where Cody and his wife fell in love over six years before they got married.

Cody and Maria included a tribute to commemorate their lost loved ones during the wedding. The couple also lit three wicks to showcase their undying love for their family members who died.

Zelda was excited that July 21 each year would mean more than just the day their father was born and the last day she saw Robin Williams. This day would also be Cody and Maria’s wedding anniversary. To Zelda, it also signifies the day she got a new sister, Maria.

Fans also commended Cody for honoring his father in such a sweet way. A fan wrote“What a wonderful gesture to get married on your late father’s birthday, he would be so proud of you. The very best to the two of you.”

Another fan concurred with this statement, saying, “How lovely a gesture for an excellent comedian and great actor!” One fan said Cody included his dad in the wedding. “A son just wanted his dad’s spirit there,” the fan wrote.

Robin’s kids continue to make him proud even after he is gone. They have chartered their own paths in the entertainment industry as actors and directors. They also strive to honor and remember their dad on their special occasions.
